Meet Bella Italia

18/05/2021

We’ve been catching up with our venues to bring you exclusive information on new menus, upcoming shows and discounts that you can look forward to later this month as we welcome you back once again to Belgrade Plaza.

Next up is Bella Italia.

We caught up with the team to learn more about their exciting new menu, recommended dishes and the infamous Bottomless Brunch!

Tell us about the exciting new menu at Bella Italia, and what’s the first meal people have been racing back for?

Our ‘always special’ new menu is full of some old Bella favourites, as well as some brand-new dishes, which we are really proud of! Guests seem to be really enjoying our traditional lasagne, always a favourite, now enhanced with a pangrattato (garlic) crumb, as well as our new Ox Cheek Ragu – slow cooked ox cheek in a tomato and red wine ragu. We also have a great range of pizzas, and a variety of gluten free and vegetarian and vegan options to suit everyone. You can also enjoy our brand new ‘cicchetti’ – small plate / tapas style sharing starters, there’s 14 to choose from and it’s so hard to choose which to enjoy! You can view our full menu here

You now offer Bottomless Brunch (sign us up!) … What can diners expect when they book for brunch the Italian way?

Our bottomless brunch is proving really popular! You can enjoy any 2 courses from our set menu, and unlimited prosecco, for just £27.99 per person – advance booking is essential, and this menu is available every Friday to Sunday from 11:30am to 5pm. Terms and conditions do apply, but you can read all about it and see the menu here. With 12 main courses to choose from, there’s definitely an option for everyone!

Do you have any special offers on currently for diners to enjoy?

Offers are always changing, so the best way to find out about what we are offering, sign up to receive our emails here or follow us on Facebook. Offers can also be found on our What’s On page on our website

What three dishes (starter, main and dessert) would you recommend to someone visiting Bella Italia for the first time?

So many to choose from! But for someone visiting us for the first time, we would definitely recommend our new Tomino Con Parma to start with (Soft Italian cheese wrapped with prosciutto ham and fresh sage, baked in the oven and served with pasta fritti), followed by Pollo Cacciatore (Pappardelle pasta ribbons tossed with chicken, pancetta, onion & mushrooms in a tomato sauce, sprinkled with pecorino cheese), with the delicious traditional Italian Tiramisu to finish. All washed down with a glass of crisp Pinot Grigio or our popular draught Italian beer ‘Lisa’.

Why should Belgrade Plaza be the first port of call for visitors heading to Coventry?

Belgrade Plaza offers a relaxed atmosphere just outside of the city centre, perfect for a catch up with a group of friends and family, or a pre-theatre meal. It’s also really easy to park close by in the Belgrade Plaza NCP car park!
